Poem About Death

I wrote this poem one day sitting at my grandma’s after watching a movie.. This poem is not about anybody or any certain person..

Closer I curl closer to the corner Holding tightly to what’s left of you My dreams have ended, half as fast as you took your last breathe Laying with your head in my lap As the blood runs across my knees I felt the warmth of it in my hands I go to let go as you drift down I set in this room so quietly Not a word, just the sound of breathing The feeling of tears strolling down My cheeks is sticky.. The clock ticking of sound of the night Pounding of my thoughts scream loudly My feeling to have you died The joy to have you went away My pains laying right between My legs.
